Welcome to StrangebutCool Atelier. These terms apply to your use of our website and to every order you place with us. By placing an order, you agree to them.
 

1. Ordering & Payment

Online orders are sold and fulfilled by our Indonesian company, PT Strange But Cool, from Bali. Payment must be received within 24 hours of placing your order. Once received, we process and dispatch your order on the next working day.
 

Payments are processed securely by Xendit, our payment provider. We accept international credit and debit cards, including American Express. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received.

Xendit handles your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We are responsible for your order itself — making it, packing it, and shipping it. We are not responsible for a payment declined by your bank or card issuer, for any currency conversion rate or foreign transaction fee your bank applies, or for delays in authorisation on their side. If a payment fails, please contact your bank first, then us.

2. Our Products

Every piece is handcrafted in limited quantities in our Bali atelier. Because our fabrics are hand-dyed and our pieces are made by hand, slight variations in colour, pattern and finish are natural — they are the mark of the hand, not a fault.

3. Pricing

Prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and your order is charged in IDR. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the conversion rate and may add its own fee — neither is set by us. Prices do not include customs duties, taxes or import charges at the destination, which are the responsibility of the customer. See Shipping.
 

4. Shipping

We ship across the Asia Pacific region from Bali, using EMS and Pos Ekspor Indonesia. Both services include tracking. The full list of countries we ship to, along with rates and delivery times, is set out on our Shipping page. Free shipping applies to ASEAN destinations on orders over IDR 5,000,000 in a single invoice.
 

5. Cancellation & Returns

We want you to be satisfied with what you receive, and we take that seriously from the first idea through to the final packing. If something isn't right, we would like to make it right.
 

To request a return, email chat@strangebutcool.com within 10 days of delivery. Pieces must be unworn, unwashed, in their original condition and packaging, with any tags attached. Please repack a return in the same manner you received it.

Because Conscious Change pieces are made from reclaimed materials and are one of one, they are returnable only if faulty.
 

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at chat@strangebutcool.com within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
 

7. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return postage, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.Please contact us before sending anything back. Returns received without prior arrangement may not be accepted.
 

8. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through Xendit within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take additional time to show the credit, and any currency difference between the original charge and the refund is determined by your bank, not by us.
 

9. Customs, Duties & Taxes

• Original shipping fees, customs duties, taxes and import charges are non-refundable.

• Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs and any customs charges associated with returning an item.
  
  Customs duties and import charges must be settled within 14 days of the parcel arriving in the destination country. If they are not, the parcel is returned to us automatically and we are charged the return freight. Where this happens, the return shipping cost is deducted from your order total and the balance refunded to you. The same applies where a parcel is refused, or cannot be delivered because the address was incorrect or nobody was available to receive it. If you are travelling, moving, or otherwise unable to receive your order, contact us before it ships and we will hold it until you are ready.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including designs, product imagery, text and the StrangebutCool name and marks — belongs to The House of StrangebutCool and may not be used without permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
